Event Description:
Join the Fruita and Palisade Chambers for the Rural Workforce Initiative committee meeting. The committee meeting meets every other month on the 3rd Mondays at 4:00 pm at the Fruita Civic center in the FWorks Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor. You are also welcome to join virtually. This committee is open to all Chamber members, industry and education partners. To join virtually, please contact kayla@fruitachamber.org to be added to the calendar invite and committee list.
The Rural Workforce Initiative exists to champion rural voices in workforce development, fostering collaboration among businesses, education, and workforce partners. Led by the joint efforts of the Fruita Area and Palisade Chambers of Commerce, this initiative creates meaningful pathways to employment, supports regional talent pipelines, and connects our membership to resources that strengthen our local economies and empower both youth and adult learners across Fruita, Palisade, and surrounding communities.
